Patches and ITK

ITK has a long history of creating patches for different events and activities. Our patches are often themed around the event they were made for. Below is a catalog of all known patches from over the years.

LAN Patches

This patch is WAY bigger than the other LAN patches! We were told that if we make four of these a year, no one could put any other patches on their ovve. For us that sounded like a win! But we got too many complaints, and made future patches smaller.
This patch comes from our LAN that happened during autumn 2022! The leaves and colours are not a coincidence! It’s also waterproof if you consider that it can dry after getting wet!
The green on this patch glows in the dark! There were originally more small bats on the design but, apparently “if the details are too small, the machines that make the patches won't be able to print them” ok atmax
This LAN was Narnia themed, but we kinda forgot to decorate for it. But it was still a very cozy LAN!
No real IRL piracy happened during the LAN, and for other types of piracy… we are legally not allowed to answer.
Most people have sown this patch on the wrong way! Is the designer to blame? yes. Maybe they shouldn’t have made the text angled. But we choose to blame the people who have sown it on wrong.
We showed SpyKids 3D on this LAN. And we bought a fuck-load of paper 3D glasses. We still have a fuck-load left.
No one from TMEIT or Qmisk seemed to realise we knew that SKIT means shit in swedish. Also, the people from SK are great and we love them.
This LAN was gonna be a NymbLAN (as in a LAN we host in Nymble) but THS pulled out last second, so instead we half-assed our LAN and made it a “make-shift” LAN. It was banger anyways.
Fun fact! ITK does not have the the legal rights to mario. But this isnt mario. this is NATrio.

Brand Patches

Earning a champion patch from a tournament you are hosting is not okay, you know who you are. The fact that you pull up random games out of your a** just so you can plan them into LANs, just SO YOU CAN WIN THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Nyckeln is very tasty! yummy yummy in my tummy.
This is the best patch. It has the most ITK and the most NAT of any other patch. Only because it is bigger. Size does matter
We have no fun facts about this patch. Who even knows where it’s from. But it is old.
Any resemblance to Sonic the Hedgehog is incidental and the tagga ITK hedgehog is not related to the character owned by Nintendo. Another fun fact is that the writer of this fun fact refuses to fact check himself.

Misc Patches

This patch was actually part of a three-patch triangle. Together with the sport committee, and the former JML committee ‘the LINK’. When you collected them all, you would get a special fourth patch and it would make a really cool ‘tri-force.’ Apparently the difficulty of the ITK escape room that year made it surprisingly hard to actually complete it. Oupsie. Womp Womp.
Our root started designing it on the day of the deadline. What you see here is the result of locking a nerd in a room with 7 Red Bulls, 36 h without sleep, a severe League of Legends addiction and a self proclaimed "passion for graphic design".
We decided to remake the escape room patch to fit with the rest of our new patch design. Funnier fact, they were ordered slightly too small. We were very confused because it was barely noticeable, but still enough to make sewing them together with other patches annoying. We fixed this for 2024
This patch, like the escape room patch 2023, was ordered slightly too small. This was also the first gasque ever hosted by ITK! For this gasque we wrote a murder mystery plot that everyone had to figure out on the spot! By the way, the Chef did it.
Fun fact! I do not know what the elven script says. But it is a sentence. The stuff at the bottom are numbers (2024) elves are quirky and use base 12 and then like to write the numbers backwards
